FAQ

Are the games free to play?

Yes. Open a game page in your browser and play. No account, no download, and nothing to install.

Do I need a ROM or an emulator?

No. Every game here is written from scratch in HTML5 Canvas and runs directly in the page.

Do they work on a phone?

Yes. Every game has an on-screen pad and action buttons, and touch handling was built in from the start.

Where do these games come from?

We wrote all of them ourselves, including the pixel art. The gameplay is inspired by the golden age of arcades, but the code, artwork and names are original.

Where is my high score stored?

In your own browser's local storage. There are no accounts and no server-side leaderboard.
